This is a personal portfolio site. I've kept data collection to a minimum. I only collect what's necessary to understand how the site is used and to run the Meridian playtester program. I don't sell data, run ads, or share your information with third parties for marketing.
This site uses three tools to understand how visitors use it. Two of them (Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity) use cookies and only run after you've given consent through the banner shown on your first visit. You can change that choice at any time by clicking the "Cookies" link in the footer.
Google Analytics 4, provided by Google LLC. Google Analytics collects information such as pages viewed, time on site, referring source, and general location derived from your IP address. It uses cookies to distinguish visits and sessions. Google may process this data in accordance with its own privacy policy. You can opt out at any time using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy.
Microsoft Clarity, provided by Microsoft Corporation. Clarity produces aggregate heatmaps (where visitors click, scroll, and hover) and session replays (an anonymized playback of mouse movement, clicks, and scrolling on the pages you visit). Clarity sets first-party cookies (_clck and _clsk) to stitch a session together. Clarity automatically masks sensitive content: names, email addresses, passwords, and form inputs are obscured before any recording is stored, and IP addresses are anonymized. Clarity is used purely to understand which parts of the site are useful or confusing; recordings are not tied to your identity. For details, see Microsoft's Privacy Statement and the Clarity FAQ.
Umami, a privacy-first analytics tool. Umami collects anonymized data about how visitors use the site: pages visited, referrer, country, device type, and browser. It does not use cookies, does not store IP addresses, does not track you across sites, and does not collect personally identifiable information. Because Umami operates without personal data, it runs for all visitors regardless of cookie choice.
All three tools are used solely to understand which content is useful and how the site performs.
